Participating in the Pop-Up Village provides vendors and service providers an opportunity to actively engage with the Village environment and community, increase sales or service offerings, and increases marketing and promotion exposure.
Umoja Health is a group of community members and organizations partnering with doctors, nurses, and infectious disease experts from UCSF and the San Francisco Department of Public Health to conduct community-based COVID-19 information and vaccination to address the inequity in the burden of COVID-19 in Black, Latinx, and other minority communities. Our goal is to meet communities where they are using a for us, by us, or FUBU approach to service delivery, dissemination of credible COVID-19 information and increasing access to resources and support. After starting in Oakland, we are now expanding our work in SF and other Bay Area communities.
